    Serkan Kızıl

    Managing Partner & Co-Founder

    Serkan Kızıl is a managing partner and co-founder of Taxim Capital. Prior to forming Taxim Capital, Mr. Kızıl was the head of private equity division at Invest AD (Abu Dhabi Investment Company), the investment group owned by the Abu Dhabi Government, where he covered Turkey, Gulf region and North Africa. He established its Turkish private equity operations in 2008. He served as chairman, vice chairman and board director of various companies during his tenure. Before joining Invest AD, Mr. Kızıl worked for Goldman Sachs for 9 years at its investment banking division in New York and London, where his latest role was executive director. While at Goldman Sachs, he worked on a long list of mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, financings, IPOs, and equity and debt transactions. Prior to his experience with Goldman Sachs, Mr. Kızıl worked for Coopers & Lybrand in Istanbul. He also comes from a family business environment where he was heavily involved with management. Mr. Kızıl received his BS in Economics from Middle East Technical University in Ankara and his MBA from Hough Graduate School of Business at University of Florida.

    Selahattin Zoralioğlu

    Managing Partner & Co-Founder

    Selahattin Zoralioğlu is a managing partner and co-founder of Taxim Capital. Prior to forming Taxim Capital, Mr. Zoralioğlu was a partner at Pamplona Capital Management, a private equity fund based in London, where he worked for 9 years. During his tenure with Pamplona Capital Mr. Zoralioğlu successfully invested in Europe and also led the fund’s investment efforts in Turkey. Prior to his experience with Pamplona Capital, Mr. Zoralioğlu worked at the investment banking division of Merrill Lynch in London, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, and at McKinsey & Company, focusing on strategy development and operational improvement for companies in Turkey and the Gulf region. Mr. Zoralioğlu received his BS in Industrial Engineering from Bosphorus University in Istanbul and his MBA from Kellogg School of Management.

    Tan Erten is the CFO of Taxim Capital. Prior to joining Taxim Capital, Mr. Erten was a partner at PAL Consulting, a local independent consulting firm, where he led several M&A and privatization advisory projects. Before joining PAL Consulting, Mr. Erten worked as Financial Director at Development Capital Management (DCM), manager of Ottoman Fund, a £200 million Turkey-focused real estate private equity fund listed in London. Prior to DCM, Mr. Erten worked at Applied Digital Technology, a technology start-up based in Florida. Mr. Erten received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Bosphorus University, and his MBA from Hough Graduate School of Business at University of Florida.

    Yalçın Nak is a managing partner and co-founder of Taxim Capital. Prior to forming Taxim Capital, Mr. Nak was the COO of the Acıbadem Healthcare Group where he worked for 6 years. Prior to Acıbadem, Mr. Nak served as the CEO and board member of Memorial Healthcare Group for 3 years, country director for the strategy and management consulting division of PWC for 2 years, client & projects manager of McKinsey & Company for 5 years and a group manager of planning and product management at Procter&Gamble Germany and Turkey for a total of 7 years. Mr. Nak received his BS in Industrial Engineering from Bosphorus University in Istanbul and his MBA from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management of the Northwestern University in Chicago. Mr. Nak is also a TEV (Turkish Education Foundation) and Fulbright Scholar. In the past, he served as a Board Member of TKYD (Corporate Governance Association of Turkey). He is currently a member of TOBB’s (Union of Chambers and Exchanges of Turkey) Girişim Sermayesi Meclisi (Venture Capital Council) and Endeavor’s Istanbul branch.

Prior to joining Taxim Capital, he was a director at UniCredit’s Principal Investments group in London for eight years, focusing on origination and execution of private equity investments in the CEE region and leading the team’s operations in Turkey. Before that he worked for four years as an investment banker at CA-IB Corporate Finance (later part of the UniCredit Group) and Garanti Securities in Istanbul, participating in many M&A, privatization and capital markets transactions. He started his career at Citibank as a money market dealer. Mr. Mungan received his BS in Management Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, MS in Finance and his MBA from University of Arizona; he is also a CFA charter holder.

    Board Member

    With over 30 years of experience in business, finance and law, including 20 years of successful private equity investing in CEE, Mr Fisher serves as an investment committee member of Taxim Capital Advisers Limited and as a director of the GP. Currently, he is also (i) board member at Innova Capital, a PE firm in Central Europe, (ii) chairman of the board of Da Vinci PE Fund 1 and chairman of the investment committee of Da Vinci PE Fund 2, both CIS PE funds and (iii) board member at Argo Group Ltd. Previously, Mr Fisher was the chairman of the Innova and EnerCap investment committees.

    Mr Boléat serves as a director on the boards of Taxim Capital Advisers Limited and the GP. He has extensive experience in fund administration and governance. Currently, Mr Boléat is a partner at Governance Partners L.P. in Jersey and also acts as chairman of CVC Credit Partners European Opportunities Limited, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, and Yatra Capital Limited, which is listed on Euronext, and is an independent director of a number of other substantial collective investment and investment management entities.

    Mr de Gruchy-Wilson is a board member of Taxim Capital Partners I GP Limited. He has over 8 years of financial services experience, specializing in governance and administration. Mr de Gruchy-Wilson is currently a Manager at IPES (Jersey) Limited were he serves as a director on various private equity structures. Prior to that he was a Director within the fund administration business of Kleinwort Benson Bank where he gained particular experience with Private Equity, Mezzanine and Alternate Assets Funds and served on the boards of various Fund, Advisory and Management entities, including listed Funds.

    Mr Gregson has over 25 years of private equity experience in Europe. He is a director and investment committee member of Taxim Capital Advisers Limited. Throughout his career, Mr Gregson has made 24 investments, managed 27 investments and invested c. GBP 1 billion of equity. He is currently focusing on mid-market private equity transactions in the UK and Germany. Previously, Mr Gregson was one of the partners at Pamplona Capital, a director at Royal Bank Equity Finance and a partner at Phildrew Ventures.

    Ms Sullivan is a Jersey resident director of Taxim Capital Advisers Limited. She has 20 years of experience as a commercial lawyer with a focus on investment funds. She has been practicing in Jersey since 1995, including as the local managing partner of Ogier until 2004 and of Maples and Calder until 2008. Ms Sullivan has been running her own firm since 2008, Noirmont Consulting, providing legal and fiduciary services in the financial services sector. Currently she holds independent non-executive directorships on various fund, management and advisory entities and other regulated financial services businesses.
